Feeling Better

Feb 20 – 26, 2011

I am feeling much better.

Boy that flu/ chemo really kicked me in the butt. I still have a runny nose as always from the chemo and the cough is hanging on way too long.

This past week I had more down time then any other weeks.
Having the flu and my last chemo treatment of the series from the first round of 4 really had me in rest mode this past week. Yea this part is over.

I start the next set of 4 treatments on March 8th at 8:40 in the morning. I will be there each time from 8:40 till 3:30 --  a long day. This round of chemo is much less invasive. That is a really good thing since I am ready to move on now! LOL

Today it is 18 here with crystal clear blue skies that makes you feel like it should be warm out side. I will be in doors in the warmth.

Have you ever stopped to think about how people view YOU? It is a great exercise to see how you see yourself!
Most people see us very differently then we see ourselves.

Take a few minutes and relax, feel yourself drifting and allow Spirit to communicate with you. It is amazing what you will learn about YOU!

We are all children of Spirit, Source, God --what ever name you like it is all the same energy.  We are all joined together at this time on this planet and have all come to assist in the transformation that is going on, on the planet and within the planet.

I send forth Love and Light for YOUR use as needed.

This past week Feb. 14th.

Hello Everyone this is how my week went.

Feb. 14th Monday
I had a Reiki treatment from Melodie. Johnny and I stayed home. I didn’t feel like going to the movies.

Tuesday
My neighbor Karen and I went to lunch. We hadn’t visited for a long time. It felt good to get out and catch up with each  other.

Wednesday
I had a Reiki treatment from Melodie. I am having some bone pain again. I am staying in today.

Thursday
Johnny and I went to a matinee.  Came home and relaxed.

Friday
I woke up with a severe cough and bones hurting.  I think I may have bronchitis.
I had a Reiki treatment from Melodie. I rested and slept on and off all day and night.
Johnny played at Twigs tonight.
Stanley and I slept. It’s funny to watch Stanley try and take care of me. He doesn’t leave my side.

Saturday
It’s the flu…or just the chemo not sure which. The cough, joint pain and I am so cold all the time. I slept and rested all day and night. It is the window of the 7 to 10 days they (doctors) talk about.

Sunday
I feel better still have cough and some joint pain. It feels nothing like Friday and Saturday.
Yes Monique you are right. It feels like you are going to die. LOL.  Yes we know we aren’t…Too much to do still.

I have chemo the last one of these two types on Tuesday the 22nd. Then I start the next type.

I plan on having a joyous week please do the same.

Feeling Better

This past week was very different.
I had my 3rd chemo treatment on Tuesday. We got home around 5.
Wednesday I was feeling good a little tired. I didn’t sleep good Tuesday night. I never do the night I have chemo.  Melodie came over in the morning and gave me a Reiki treatment. I later took a nap before going to the cancer center for my shot for my white blood ceils. I was doing great. Johnny and I went to Marie Calendars and had an early dinner. I love their soup.
Then grocery shopping at this time of night there is hardly anyone there. We got done and home and all unpacked by 8:30.
Thursday I felt swemish, not full out nausea but not good.
I take my nausea medicines the week of chemo on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. (Saturdays if needed).  It helped some. Before it totally helped so this is different this week. I ate my small meals often which did seem to help. I also had unusual pain in my limbs, joints and bones. I took Ibuprophine and it does help.
Friday, I woke up on and off all night long Thursday with bone pain. I am use to pain from my back (I was in a car accident when I was 17) but this was not the same.  I rested all day Friday and Melodie came over and gave me a Reiki treatment. This did give me relief.  Friday I did rest only!
Saturday, yes finally I feel better.
No nausea or pain. Johnny took Stanley to be trimmed and groomed. When he came back he had beautiful red roses for me for Valentines.  He is so thoughtful. He knew we had said NO flowers as the price is always so much on Valentines Day, but he also knew I hadn’t felt good. He is the best husband and friend!  I washed Stanley’s bedding so he would have clean, clean bedding and clothes. (yes he has sweaters and hoodies it is cold here in the winter .LOL)
Johnny played at Twigs Cellar and I stayed home and watched movies with yes you guessed it…Stanley.
Sunday today, I am feeling good and I have been doing paper work and other computer stuff.
Tomorrow for Valentines Day we are going to a matinee. I will wipe down the seat to get rid of any germs.
Have a loving day and Happy Valentines Day to you all!

Video to Watch

Hi Everyone,
Please take a moment to watch this video below. A donation is made each time. In fact this video made me cry. To think that all these ladies would do this to help breast cancer.

About 136 former NFL cheerleaders got together to do a dance routine to benefit "Susan G. Komen for the Cure" (Breast Cancer).  Each time someone views the video, United Healthcare will make a $.10 donation to the Komen organization.  Their goal is to get a million hits, which will lead to $100K raised.
Please can you take a moment to watch the video-and, just as important, pass this link on to your network of friends, family and colleagues?  It benefits a very important cause!
Thanks for helping!

Cold Every Where

Today through out the nation it is cold weather.
Please remember to feel the warmth in your heart, home and with you family and friends.
We all are very blessed at so many levels! Enjoy your moment to moment.
Today I received this in my emails. I feel this is perfect for ME!

True, Stephanie, not everyone is "meant to" have their own Metaphysical business.
For many, even dreaming of such things is virtually impossible.
Fortunately, you're neither of those people.
And it's no coincidence,
The Universe
...Prepare thy way, Stephanie.
